Start from the right product
A precise recommendation needs the page of the product and the variant you are describing. Size, compatibility, how many are in the box and the model number can be the difference between useful advice and the wrong purchase.
An ordinary address copied from the browser is not automatically an affiliate link. Use the tools in your account to tie the recommendation to the right tracking ID.
Creating the link with SiteStripe
SiteStripe is the Amazon tool for generating links while you browse the site. Sign in with the account tied to the program. If the bar does not appear, check the SiteStripe options in your Associates portal settings.
- Open the product page on the marketplace your program refers to.
- Select the variant you want to recommend and check its details on the page.
- Open the text link generator in SiteStripe.
- Pick the relevant Associates ID and tracking ID from those available in your account.
- Copy the generated link and open it to check where it lands, without making test purchases of your own.

What to write next to the link
Explain who the product is for, which problem it solves and which limitation matters in the choice. If you have not used it, do not present the page as a review based on your own experience. Keep what you checked yourself separate from what the listing claims.
Give the link a descriptive label, so the reader knows where it goes. Avoid invented urgency, absolute claims like “the best for everyone”, and references to discounts you have not verified.
Make the affiliate relationship visible
The reader has to understand that you may receive a commission. Put a clear disclosure next to your recommendations and apply the statement the Amazon agreement requires on your presence. A notice buried in a page nobody finds does not help someone who is deciding.
Check the official text for the wording and the conditions that apply. Do not use the Amazon brand to make your project look like an official channel or something Amazon endorsed.

Prices, images and availability need care
Copying a price into your recommendation by hand can leave you with information that is out of date. Amazon’s policies set specific conditions for showing prices and availability, including where the data comes from. Working by hand, you can point to the Amazon page instead of repeating a static price.
Images and other catalogue material come with usage conditions too: do not treat them as a library you can freely reuse. If you distribute content through Telegram or through automation, check first that the channel, the data and the method are allowed for your account.

Check the link before you send it out
Open the generated link and compare the product with the text of your recommendation. Colour, size, capacity and packaging can identify different variants: make sure the reader lands on the one you described.
Check where the link goes and which Associates ID it carries. If you paste the link into a template, check the resulting message too: an unfilled variable or one bracket too many can break the link entirely.
Do not include prices or availability you cannot keep up to date under the applicable conditions. When a promotion changes, fix the content; the Amazon page is what the reader should check at the moment of buying.
