Automating Amazon deals on Telegram: what it actually takes

From search to publishing: what Scontino automates, which checks stay with you, and why a bot does not guarantee automatic income.

Scontino · Updated on

Automating the repetitive part

Publishing a deal is several jobs in one: finding products, selecting them, writing the message and distributing it. You can do all of it by hand, or hand part of it to software. The gain worth measuring is the time saved while the content stays relevant.

Scontino connects Amazon product search, filters, templates and scheduled publishing to Telegram. The application is separate from this site: the guides live here, while the flow is configured and the posts are reviewed in the app.

What to check before turning automation on

You need an eligible Amazon setup, access to whatever tools the integration requires, and a channel you are allowed to post to. An Associates account on its own should not be read as automatic access to every API: check the current requirements and the permissions available in the portal.

Confirm with Amazon the distribution you want to use: Telegram is not listed among the accepted social networks on the Associates application page. Software being able to send messages is not approval from the program.

Setting up the flow with Scontino

Start from a narrow search, so you can judge the quality of the results easily. The options and limits available depend on the plan shown in the app and in the pricing section of the site.

  1. Configure the Amazon connections your account needs in the app, and check that a search returns results.
  2. Connect the bot and the Telegram channel, checking the posting permissions.
  3. Define a search with keywords and filters that match your audience: category, brand or rating, for example.
  4. Prepare the message template with clear descriptions and the affiliate disclosure you are required to show.
  5. Set the schedule and check the first post: product, variant, link and destination all have to match.
  6. Review the posts regularly and change the filters when the catalogue starts producing irrelevant results.
Search, filters, message and publishing are all one flow.

The checks that stay yours

Automation has to use catalogue data in the ways that are allowed. Amazon’s policies set conditions on prices, availability and content: check your configuration respects them, and do not reuse images or descriptions indiscriminately.

Schedule a review of expired deals, duplicate messages and publishing errors. If a connection stops working, fix the cause before increasing retries or frequency. The bot cannot judge on your behalf whether a recommendation is useful.

Automation runs the criteria you set: review the results and update the filters.

Does a bot generate automatic income?

A bot can make publishing automatic; it cannot guarantee that anyone reads, clicks or buys. Growing an audience, earning trust and keeping the selection good all take continuous work.

Judge the automation by comparing time spent, mistakes and results before and after you turned it on. If you save work while keeping the channel useful, the tool is doing its job. Commissions remain subject to Amazon’s rules and reports.

A real configuration: Computing, €10–100, 30% off or more

In the Computing search, observed in the app on 10 September 2026, the store is Amazon IT and the category is Computing. The filters set a minimum price of €10, a maximum of €100 and a minimum discount of 30%; no included keywords are set.

The row for the last observed run reports 99 products returned, 8 saved or updated and 91 discarded. That is a real example of catalogue selection: it does not demonstrate income, and it does not guarantee the next run returns the same products.

To read your own search, open Searches and compare Returned, Saved / updated and Discarded. If you find no products, check the category and the filters first; then open Catalogue and look at what was actually saved.

Three checks when nothing gets published

Search with no results: compare the minimum and maximum price, the discount required, the category and the excluded words. Too narrow a selection may produce no eligible items; do not raise the posting rate before you have a useful catalogue.

Channel unreachable: check the bot connection and its permission to post in the channel. Never share the token when asking for help.

Product present but nothing sent: check the schedule, the time zone, the channel filters and the daily limit of your plan. Look for the actual message on Telegram before treating the flow as successful.
