Associate, Influencer or Creators API?
To promote a product with an affiliate link, start from the Amazon Associates program. Being a creator describes your work, but it does not on its own identify a type of account: do not go looking for a generic “Amazon Creator” signup without knowing which tool you actually need.
Amazon Influencer is a separate route for creators with a social presence, subject to review. The Creators API is about programmatic access to catalogue data: it is not a requirement for learning to create a link by hand with SiteStripe, and it does not replace applying to the program.

What to prepare before you apply
Amazon reviews the presences you declare and the original content on them. When the source was checked, the page stated at least three qualifying sales within the first 180 days for the review, and made clear that your own orders do not count. Check the requirements again before applying.
The same page lists Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok and Twitch among the accepted social networks, each with its own conditions. Telegram is not on that list: having a deals channel is not enough to treat an application as approved.

The steps to create an Associates account
Collect the exact addresses of the presences you run, and a clear description of your content, before you start. Field names can change: always follow the ones shown in the official flow.
- Open the Amazon Associates site for your marketplace and choose Sign up. Sign in with the Amazon account you intend to use.
- Fill in the requested details about the account holder, and list the sites or eligible presences that are genuinely yours.
- Describe your topics, your audience and how you bring visitors to your content. Use precise URLs, not the generic homepage of a social network.
- Read the agreement and complete the flow. Set up payment details and the other information your account asks for.
- Write down your Associates ID and watch for Amazon’s messages about the status of your application.

What to do after you register
Create a first useful piece of content and its link, then check it opens the right product. Do not buy things yourself to reach the requirements, and do not mistake being able to generate links for final approval.
Keep the list of presences in the portal up to date and answer Amazon’s requests. If an application is rejected, read the reason and fix the problem before reapplying: opening more channels with no content does not fix an editorial gap.

The check before your first link
Check three things together: the page answers a real question, the link leads to the variant you described, and the commercial relationship is clear to the reader. If you want to use Telegram, settle the eligibility of that distribution method with Amazon first.
You do not need to automate straight away. Learning the manual path is what lets you spot a wrong product or an inconsistent link later, when a publishing tool is doing it for you.

Keep the Associates account and product data access apart
Before you configure any software, check three things separately: the status of your application, your Associates ID, and access to whatever catalogue tool is required. Having an ID does not prove an API integration is already available to you.
In Scontino, setting up the store and running a search are separate steps: once the Amazon store is configured, run a search and look at the results before you schedule anything on the channel. An incomplete Amazon access is not fixed by changing Telegram posting times.
If you get a rejection or a request for more information, keep Amazon’s message and fix the presences you declared. Never share passwords, tokens or keys in the screenshots you send to support.
